Academic Year in America (AYA) is a non-profit organization and a program of the AIFS Foundation, a public charity established in 1967 with the assistance of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy.
AYA supports cultural exchange, fosters global citizenship, and breaks down barriers to international understanding by enabling people across the United States to host high school students from around the globe for intercultural education in their communities.
AYA in Austin
As the Austin-area local coordinator for AYA, I help host families in the Austin area apply for the program and I support host families and their students throughout the year.
If you have any questions about the program or if you’d like to discuss becoming a host family, just send me an email using the form below. I can also send you the link to the host family application and walk you through the application process. I look forward to hearing from you!
